All individuals and groups who wish to use the building are required to sign a
facilities usage contract, available from the church secretary at
vanchurch@vanchurch.org
.
The following are policies that apply to both members and non-members
Building use is restricted to ·
12:00noon-9:00pm Weekdays
· 9:00am-9:00pm Saturdays
• No non-congregational events on Sundays.
No events will be scheduled on the weekends of these major holidays:
· New Year's Day
· Easter
· Mother's Day
· Memorial Day
· Father's Day
· July 4th
· Labor Day
· Thanksgiving
· Christmas
Activities that promote political views or charge a fee for the purpose of personal profit
are not allowed. A church representative will be assigned to each event.
If the Vancouver Church of Christ building is closed for any unforeseen reason, those on
the building usage list will be notified as soon as possible by a church representative.
An adult representative (at least 21 years of age) must remain on the premises with any
group using the premises.
Users shall not operate, use or move furniture, electronic systems, lights, or any
other furnishings or equipment, including climate controls.
Candles must be approved by the assigned church representative. Unapproved candles will
be removed.
Beverages must be approved by the assigned church representative. Please avoid
dark or intensely colored dyes, as they can cause permanent damage to the carpet and
furnishings.
No alcohol, tobacco products or illegal substances allowed on the church campus.
No cooking inside the building.
Children must be adequately supervised at all times.
Our church representative has the authority to expel any person displaying
improper conduct.
Any unforeseen details will be handled at the discretion of our church representative. |
