The Women of the Word (WOW) groups are a place to study God’s Word together, pray together, and make friends. These small groups meet weekly throughout the school year. The groups also join together for fun activities from time to time such as a tea party or a Bingo party. All women are warmly welcome.
The WOW groups will be studying a video series on the book of Luke. This series by Kristi McLelland is called “Luke in the Land” and follows the life of Jesus in the context of 1st century Israel. For those who have done one of her studies before, you know what a treat we are in for!
Group discussions and fellowship are offered on Monday or Thursday mornings in person or Monday evenings on Zoom, starting the week of February 2. Contact the church office if you want to join a group.
This study will take us into March. How exciting to walk in Jesus’ footsteps as we prepare for Easter and celebrate his life, death, and resurrection!
Keep your eyes open for a special women’s event that is being planned at the conclusion of this study for March.
